Chapter 6. Configuring MOVERs

Note: Unless you do not wish to use the XMA database on the host at all, do not
create Alert-Only MOVERs. Accept N.
Please select an option :
1: Create a new command file
2: Load and run an existing command file
X: Exit
Note: If you select option 1, you will be prompted for a filename. Do not name the file
DISCOVERbecause XMA will create a file of that name later in the process.

Please enter new (nonexistent) command file ->newmvr
Once you enter a filename, you will see the following:

Enter 'D' to discover new installations
'X' to exit and build command file <D>-> <enter>
A list of the available NonStop nodes displays.

You will be asked to select a NODE or ALL. You will have the opportunity later to
choose another node.
Once you have made your NODE selection, you will be asked if you want to search the
entire NODE(s) or just a sub-set for current XYGATE product installations. Enter a
wildcarded $VOLUME.SUBVOLUME mask to limit the search. Once you have entered
a search template, the Discovery process will begin.
