Chapter 6. Configuring MOVERs
XYPRO Technology Corporation 117 Proprietary and Confidential
To start data collection from a specific date onwards, enter a date in the
format yyyy-mm-dd.
Enter value <-1>->10
Data collection start date will be set to 2008-05-20:00:00:00.000000.
You must now decide if you want the MOVERs for products residing on the remote
(non-master) nodes to run on the remote node or the local (master) node. If the
MOVERs run on the remote node, they push the data to the XMA data tables via
EXPAND. If the MOVERs run on the local node, they will pull the data from the remote
nodes via EXPAND. Either way, all the MOVERs will be part of the XMA Pathway.
If you want the MOVERs for products residing on the remote (non-master) nodes to
run on the remote node and push data to the local (master) node, answer Y.
If you want the MOVERs to run on the local node and pull the data from the remote
nodes via EXPAND, answer N.

The target products are now being discovered, so this step may take a while. Once the
MOVER creation command file is built, you will see the following prompt:
Please examine MOVER addition commands that have
been set up in the file NEWMVR
You now have the opportunity to review (and alter) the command file. Refer to the
previous subsectionMOVER Creation Command Fileon page 114 for more
information.
Important! The Command file will be deleted once it is run, so if you want to retain a
copy, you must copy the file before you issue the command to build the MOVERs.
Once you have finished reviewing the contents of the command file and have exited
EDIT, the following prompt will be presented:
Enter 't' to go into tedit, CTRL-Y to exit the editor.
