Chapter 6. Configuring MOVERs

Enter N to save your input file so that it can be used at a later date.
Enter Y to create the MOVERs created. This step may take awhile especially if this is
the first time you are adding MOVER Serverclasses on a node, because the SQL
catalog and the appropriate objects will be added and the program objects will be SQL
compiled.
Information regarding all the MOVER Serverclasses that are added will be stored in a
file named DISCOVER in the XYGATEMA subvolume. This file is for reference only. It
cannot be used as a command file.
Once you have added the MOVER Serverclasses, you can change any Pathway or
MOVER parameters via the Movers Management Menu options. This is described in
more detail in Chapter 5, “Using XMA_MANAGER.”
If you enter N the following prompt will be displayed; otherwise, the command file will
be used to create MOVER Serverclasses for all installations set to INSTALL:“Y”.
(Refer to “Executing an Existing Discover Command File” below for instructions on
executing a pre-existing MOVER creation command file.)
Enter Y to add movers enter N to save newmove to run at a later date. <Y>->n
Command file NEWMVR has been retained.

Executing an Existing Discover Command File
If you chose not to create the MOVERs when you created the command file, you can
execute the file later by selecting Movers Management Menu, option 1 (page 101).
This will display the Discover Menu:

2: Load and run an existing command file
X: Exit
Select option 2 to display the prompt requesting the name of an existing command file.

Please enter an existing command file ->NEWMVR
Command file NEWMVR loaded.
Enter Y to add movers enter N to save newmove to run at a later date. <Y>->y
If you reply Y to the prompt, the command file will be executed and your MOVERs
created. If this is the first time you are adding MOVER Serverclasses for a Node, the
SQL catalog and the appropriate objects will be added and the program objects will be
SQL Compiled.
