Chapter 6. Configuring MOVERs
XYPRO Technology Corporation 119 Proprietary and Confidential
Information regarding all the MOVER Serverclasses that are added will be stored in a
file named DISCOVER in the XYGATEMA subvolume. This DISCOVER file cannot be
used as a Command File. It is used by XMA and should not be altered.
Note: The input file is deleted after use. If you wish to add additional MOVER
Serverclasses using the Discovery option, you will have to create a new
command input file. The entries in the DISCOVER file that is created when the
MOVERs are actually created, are used to ensure that no duplicate MOVER
Serverclasses are created.
You have now created your initial set of MOVERs.
6.3.2 Creating Remote Catalogs
When adding MOVER Serverclasses to a remote NODE, you have the option to add
the SQL catalog manually, or have XMA_MANAGER do it for you.
Example:
Adding SFG-SIMI-01...
Setting up catalog and MOVER at \WIRE ...
MA Manager at \PROD1 running as SEC.ADMIM would need to
remotely create a catalog at \WIRE.$DISCB.XMACAT
which may be denied due to security violation.
Enter 'y' if you want MA Manager to create the catalog.
Enter 'n' if you will be creating the catalog manually ->n
Getting catalog version ...
Running $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.SQLCI /inv commandin, out \WIRE.$DISCB.XMAOBJ.zz000000/
Getting catalog version ...
Running \WIRE.$SYSTEM.SYSTEM.SQLCI /inv commandin,out\WIRE.$DISCB.XMAOBJ.zz000000/
You would need to create the catalog yourself at \WIRE.$DISCB.P28HH0CT.
Log on to \WIRE as SEC.ADMIM and then type in :
SQLCI
CREATE catalog \WIRE.$DISCB.XMACAT;
Press return after completing the above steps...
Important! Please remember that any SQL catalog that you create on a remote
NODE must be the same version as the catalog on the Master NODE.
