Chapter 6. Configuring MOVERs

Based on the terminal name, certain records will be excluded from the IP address
resolution process. The terminals to be excluded are by program filename: TMIOP,
VHS, ZHOME, NETBATCH, (deviceinfo check), XYGATETR and any invalid terminal
name.
Note: The IPRESLVR server will not be available until it is configured. Configuration is
done via the with the Movers Management Menu, option 19 (page 101). Your
XMA Pathway must be running prior to configuring the IPRESLVR server.

Option Selection Description
1: CPU Busy Percent If the CPU Usage is greater than or equal to the percentage
specified in CPU Busy, the MOVER will sleep for a random
interval of 1 to 3 seconds. The interval is chosen at random so
that all the MOVER Serverclasses do notwake-up” at the
same time.
The default is 30.
2: Records Retain Days The number of days that a record will be kept in the
SESSNOIP table. The IPRESLVR program performs the
cleanup function.
The default is 5 days.
3: Transaction Size The number of records accessed during a TMF transaction. It
is used with Transaction Timeout. If either condition is true the
transaction will be committed.
The default is 100 records.
4: Transaction Timeout The number of seconds a TMF transaction will remain active.
It is used with Transaction size. If either condition is true the
transaction will be committed.
The default is 600 seconds.
X: Exit Exit to The Movers Management Menu.
R: Run Update the PARAMS table for the IPRESLVR MOVER.
