So that XMA does not interfere with normal processing during times of peak activity,
each MOVER Serverclass will examine CPU activity and ‘throttle down’ for short
periods of time if necessary. This parameter is used in conjunction with
BACKLOGAGE. If the CPU usage is greater than or equal to the percentage specified
and the audit records being processed are older than the number of seconds specified
in BACKLOGAGE, the MOVER will sleep for 1 to 3 seconds. The interval is chosen at
random so that all the MOVER Serverclasses do notwake-up at the same time.
The range of valid values is 1 to 100 percent.
The default is 80 percent.
6.9.1 MEASURE-Related Parameters
There are several parameters used only for MEASURE MOVERs.
MAXEXTENTS <number>
A MEASURE MOVER Serverclass utilizes this parameter when creating the primary
and backup data files to specify the maximum number of extents for your Primary and
Backup File data files.
The default is 100.
MEASUREINTERVAL <seconds>
A MEASURE MOVER Serverclass utilizes this parameter. It is used to specify how
often MEASURE data will be collected.
The default is 300 seconds (5 minutes).
PRIMARYEXTENTSIZE <number>
A MEASURE MOVER Serverclass utilizes this parameter. This is the primary extent
size for the Primary and Backup data files.
The default is 16.
PRIMARYFILE <file name>
A MEASURE MOVER Serverclass utilizes this parameter. This is a required
parameter. A fully qualified filename including node should be specified.
This is a required parameter.
SECONDARYEXTENTSIZE <number>
A MEASURE MOVER Serverclass utilizes this parameter. This is the secondary extent
size for the Primary and Backup data files.
The default is 16.
