If you want to perform another ACTION, such as sending an email alert, you would
have to add another Filter with the same selection criteria and
MOVER = SAFEGUARD.
8.1.2 Archiving the XMA Database
Archiving removes records from the production XMA database and then creates a new
set of tables to store the data that was removed. Archive data tables can be backed up
because they are not continuously open.
Each time the archive process is performed, a new set of archive tables is created.
The progress of the archive process is logged to the Archive Log Table (ARCLOG).
Creating Archives
You can archive data manually by selecting the Database Management Menu,
option 5: List Archive tasks (page 104) in Chapter 5.
You can schedule an archive via Database Management Menu, option 16: Auto
Archive Setup (page 104). Once the archive is scheduled, it will be started via the
House Keeper server at the interval you have defined.
