How to Change the Cleanup Options
If you wish to change the cleanup options, use Database Management Menu,
option 4: Auto cleanup setup. Refer to section 5.5, “The Database Management
Menu” page 104.
EXAMPLE: Changing the auto cleanup time

Current cleanup settings :
Data older than 9 days will be automatically cleaned up.
Cleanup program will be launched at 14:00 daily.
Output of the cleanup program will be sent to $S.#CLEANDB.
Note: The results of the cleanup process are also logged to the Archive Log Table
(ARCLOG).

Manual Cleanup
You can clean up obsolete data records manually using Database Management Menu,
option 3: Cleanup Database (page 104).
8.2 Routine Database Maintenance
The XMA database is an SQL database that requires routine maintenance such as
updating the statistics to optimize queries and Reloads to reclaim space freed up by
CLEANUP or ARCHIVING.
You may wish to assign responsibility for these routine database management tasks
over to a DBA group or the system managers, or whomever manages the application
SQL database tables. These users have the necessary knowledge and tools at hand.
