SQLCI ALTER TABLE command.
2. Using the SQLCI DROP command, DROP the old tables and indexes from the
XMA catalog.
3. Re-sqlcompile the MOVER object programs.
4. Once the MOVER object programs have been recompiled, re-start the XMA

8.4 Partitioning the XMA Database
Starting with XMA version 1.23, the AUDIT SESSION table and AUDIT DETAIL tables
have a key that better lends itself to partitioning. The PARTITION key is the first
column in the AUDIT SESSION table and AUDIT DETAIL table. The PARTITIONKEY
column will be randomly updated with values from 2 to 255. The value 0 is not used so
that a NULL partition can be created. The value 1 is reserved for conversion purposes.
To assist in the partitioning of your tables, a sample file with the necessary partitioning
file attributes is provided with XMA. It resides in the XYGATEMA subvolume on the
pathway node. This file is called PARSAMP and is described in Appendix E5:
PARSAMP” on page 206.
Note: The primary partition for both the AUDDET and AUDSESS tables must reside in
the XMADAT subvolume.
