Appendix A: The MACONF File

A3: COLLECTOR
This keyword sets the name of the default spooler collector to use for report generation
using the XMA_REPORT macro. The default value is $S.
Syntax:
COLLECTOR <collector name>
Example:
COLLECTOR $S2
If this keyword is omitted from the MACONF file, the $S collector will be used as the
default.
A4: COMPANY_NAME
This keyword sets the name of the installation. The name of the company is used for
reports generated by the XMA_REPORT macro.
Syntax:
COMPANY_NAME "<string>"
Example:
COMPANY_NAME "ACME Technology Corp"
By default, the INSTALL macro sets the COMPANY_NAME value to the name of the
company specified in the XYPRO license for XMA. The company name <string> must
be enclosed by double-quotation marks.
A5: HOMETERM
The location specified in the HOMETERM keyword will be used during the creation of
your XMA Pathway. It is also used as the default home terminal for any other
processing that requires a terminal to be specified.
Syntax:
HOMETERM <terminal>
Example:
HOMETERM $VHS
