Appendix A: The MACONF File

A6: MACRO_NAME
The argument to the MACRO_NAME keyword is the name of the macro as specified at
installation. This value is used for subsequent updates of the XMA product. This entry
is required and will be created during installation.
Syntax:
MACRO_NAME <XYGATEMA-macro-name>
Example:
MACRO_NAME XMA
Note: Because this macro name is built into the compiled TACLSEG for XMA, it will
remain in effect until you re-install the software.
Default <XYGATEMA-macro_name> is XMA.
A7: PATHMON_NAME
This keyword resides in the MACONF file. It is a required keyword that records the
name of the PATHMON process used by XMA.
Syntax:
PATHMON_NAME <XYGATEMA-pathmon-name>
Example:
PATHMON_NAME $XMA
To change the name of your XMA Pathway, stop all running Serverclass processes
within your XMA Pathway, and stop the PATHMON process. This can be done via the
Pathway Management Menu, option 3: Stop (page 100), or by executing the
XMA_PWSTOP macro (page 221).
Re-start your XMA Pathway utilizing the Pathway configuration information contained
in the PWCONFIG and PWSTATE files in your XMA Pathway configuration
SUBVOLUME. This can be done via the Pathway Management Menu, option 2: Cool
Start (page 100), or by executing the XMA_PWCOOL macro (page 221).
