• PCI 8.2 is considered to reference user configuration; therefore, changes to User
and Alias Records as well as user-related Safeguard Global parameters fall into
this category. Changes to the values that control logons, etc., fall here. Actual
logons and proof that IDs are frozen or timed out fall into other Requirements such
as PCI 8.5.
• The rest of the PCI-related Filter and Report naming schema is considered self-
explanatory and relates to access of the objects being secured via rules referred to
(monitored by) PCI 2.2.3.
You can customize both the Filter and Audit Pro report names to suit yourself.
What’s New in this Release
The following is a summary of documentation revisions or updates, and new features
where applicable. Refer to the softdoc for detailed information about “Installation
Notes,” “Security Considerations” and “Release Warnings.”
• Documentation – added item 26 on page xv in the “Quick Reference for Common
Tasks” table.
• Documentation – re-titled the section “Updating Your XYGATE License Using XMI”
and expanded the descriptions now in “Managing the XYGATE License,”
section 1.7, starting on page 24.
• New – inserted new Chapter 2, “Sending Data to Your ArcSight SIEM” starting on
page 27.
• Documentation – commentary added re: “warning message #169” in Chapter 3,
“Configuring Filters and the FILTERS File” on page 39.
• New – “BASE24-eps MOVERs,” section 6.8 added, on page128.
• Documentation – revised the XMA_INSTALL_LICENSE macro in Appendix E14:
on page 218 to include the license expiration message.
• New – “BASE24-eps Data Mapping,” Appendix G5: added, on page 249.
• New – added the subsection “Special Processing for CLIM” to “EMS Data
Mapping” in Appendix G7:, starting on page 261.
• New – added auditing detail and XPC Notes 2 and 3 for XPC-R type records in
