A number of XYGATE Microsoft Windows clients can be used to report from the XMA
database to monitor alerts from NonStop systems and to modify the configuration of
host XYGATE modules. The reference manuals for the client components are part of
the XYGATE Online Help (XOH) package.
After installing XMA on the host system, find the IXOHEXE file, FTP it in binary mode
to your PC workstation, and then rename it to XOHINST.EXE on your PC.
Double-click on the XOHINST.EXE file to invoke the XOH installation process, and
follow the on-screen prompts.
After installation of XOH is complete, find the desktop shortcut XYGATE
Documentationand double-click on it to view the collection of XYGATE manuals.
The following manuals will guide you through operating XYGATE clients interfacing
with XMA:
XYGATE Security Event Monitor (XEM). XEM client can be used to monitor alerts
on NonStop system activity.
XYGATE Configuration and Audit Reporting (describes XRM, XCF and XTR).
XRM client can be used to run reports on NonStop system activity.
XCF client can be used to modify the default configuration of XMA and other
XYGATE host modules.
