G1: General Notes on Data Mapping Columns
These notes apply to all of the products. Notes unique to a particular products audit
trail are included with the products data mapping tables.
General Note 1
The value in the PARTITIONKEY column of both the Audit Detail (AUDDET) and Audit
Session (AUDSESS) tables is assigned during processing. If the AUDDET and
AUDSESS are not partitioned, the partition key will be set to a value of 2. If either table
is partitioned, the value is randomly assigned in the range of 2 - 255.
0 (zero) Is omitted so that an empty partition can be created
1 Is reserved for conversion purposes
General Note 2
The value in the RECORDGMT column is calculated using RECORDLCT and the
GMT parameter in XMA_XYMVPARAMTBL.
General Note 3
The value in the OUTCOME column is a normalized value that allows you to report or
act on all successful access attempts or all failed access attempts, regardless of the
particular reason for the success or denial/failure. The actual data used to derive this
field is contained in the MESSAGECODE column. The normalized outcomes are:
1. Success
2. No Record
3. Failure. Failure is defined as a security violation.
4. UNKNOWN. A value of 4 will be assigned when the MOVER cannot translate the
XYGATE or SAFEGUARD value. The actual data used to derive this field will be
contained in the column MESSAGECODE.
