1.2.4 Running the AutoInstall Script
Access to SUPER.SUPER (or an alias to SUPER.SUPER) will be required during the
installation to perform necessary licensing tasks in a separate TACL session. This
requirement will be indicated by the AutoInstall script and documented in this manual.
Note: The AutoInstall script waits on a prompt while the user starts a separate TACL
session when requested to perform specific actions. The user continues the
script after the action by responding to this prompt. However, if the user stops
the AutoInstall script for any reason, it must be restarted with the Run command
as shown below. This will continue the installation from the point of exit.
Start the IWIZARD script.
Example:
$MYVOL IXYPROMA 5> RUN IWIZARD
Initializing config file ...
Done initializing config file.
Warning: Access to SUPER.SUPER (or an alias to SUPER.SUPER) may be required to
complete the installation of each XYGATE product.
During the installation, if the need for SUPER.SUPER arises, the
installation will be paused and the user will be asked to issue specific
commands from another TACL prompt while logged on as SUPER.SUPER (or an
alias to SUPER.SUPER), after which the installation can continue.
If these commands cannot be issued by SUPER.SUPER (or an alias to
SUPER.SUPER) at the time of the initial installation, the user has the
option to stop the installation. The next time the user runs the
IWIZARD, the installation process will continue from the point where it
was stopped.
Are you ready to continue ? Y
The AutoInstall script will attempt to locate any already installed XMA environments
and display these located environments as shown below. If you are running this script
to upgrade one of these environments, refer to section 1.4.1, “Running the AutoInstall
Upgrade” on page 16.
