Chapter 1. Installing XMA

This will remove ALL files from the following locations, even if the
product was not recently installed or upgraded:
XTR Installed files on \N1.$MYVOL.XYGATETR
XTR Unpak'd files on \N1.$MYVOL.P46DSDST
XMA Installed files on \N1.$MYVOL.XYGATEMA
XMA Tables on \N1.$MYVOL.XMADAT

1.6.2 Installing the GUI/PC Products
If you are installing XMA from an HP SUT distribution, the distributed subvolume
(DSV) will contain binary files for the GUI/PC products that you can optionally install.
The GUI/PC products included with the XMA product will perform the following tasks:
• Pre-formatted and custom reports on the SQL audit repository (IXRGEXE)
• Perform configuration changes to the environment (IXCFEXE)
• A GUI view of alerts and monitoring of the audited information (IXEMEXE)
• A GUI Information support tool (IXGIEXE)
• Display Online help information for XYGATE products (IXOHEXE)
Note: Refer to the XYGATE User Guides for each product and the considerations and
instructions at the beginning of this chapter for installation on your PC.
1. Locate the installation staging which was used for the install or upgrade function,
and set the default volume to that location.
Syntax:
TACL> VOLUME [$NEWVOL].IXYPROMA
Example:
TACL> VOLUME $MYVOL.IXYPROMA
