Chapter 19. XUA Auditing and Audit Reports

If you put an asterisk ( * ) in front of an IP address, XUA will include all IP addresses
containing the entry in the report.
IP Address: *207
finds all IP addresses containing 207 (for example, 207.456.78.01
and 123.207.78.01).
IP Address: *52
finds all IP addresses containing 52 (for example, 12.456.78.52 and
123.456.52.78).
If you put an asterisk ( * ) at the end of the string, XUA will include any IP address that
begin with the entry in the report.
IP Address: 123*
finds all IP addresses starting with 123.
If you enter an IP addresses without either a leading or trailing asterisk, then XUA will
only include the IP addresses that exactly match the IP address you have entered.
IP Address: 212.123.12.42
finds only the entry 212.123.12.42.
You can also exclude specific IP addresses by using NOT statements. NOT
statements must follow the initial wildcarded selection. For example, if you want to
report on the activities of all IP addresses except 212.123.12.42, you would enter:
* not 212.123.12.42
You can exclude multiple IP addresses by entering the IP addresses separated by
commas.
19.5.17 Exit the report macro
To CLOSE the Report Selection Screen without executing a report and exit the report
macro, select X. Alternatively, you can press Break or Ctrl+Y on your keyboard to
return to your TACL prompt.
19.5.18 Run the audit report
When you are satisfied with all your selection criteria, select Z or ZP to create the
report.
Z will run the report and put you back to a TACL prompt. ZP will run the report and put
you directly into PERUSE as shown in the next section below.
To run a report and return to your TACL prompt, select Z:
