XYGATE User Authentication Reference Manual

XYPRO Technology Corporation 201 Proprietary and Confidential
Appendix A: The UACONF File
An edit file named UACONF, which configures global values, is kept in the same
volume and subvolume as the XYGATEUA object file. The UACONF file contains the
keywords that define the external functionality of the XUA process, such as where and
what records are audited, what home terminal the SEEP should have and whether
privileged logons are permitted.
Important! Many of the keywords in the UACONF file set the general condition of the
software execution and can be overridden at the UAACL level for individual groups of
userids. That is, the same keyword entered in the UAACL file described in Appendix B:
takes precedence over the UACONF file.
A1: The UACONF File Keywords
The UACONF file can contain one or more of the following keywords.
