B2: Limits on UAACL Entries
The UAACL File has limits on the amount of data specified in the file. The limits are as
shown in the following table:
Field Limit Description
ACLGroups 100 ACLGROUPs that can be defined to group users by
function into profiles.
ACL IDs 20,000 The number of distinct userid references found in the
entire file.
PORTs 1,000 The number of distinct specifications of the incoming
IP address or terminal which is requesting the logon.
MAPs 3,002 The number of distinct specifications of the Mapping
used to translate or convert the Logon Name to an
Alternative Authentication Database.
REQUESTORs 1,000 The number of distinct specifications of the object file
which is generating the logon request.
ANCESTORs 1,000 The number of distinct specifications of ancestor of the
requestor that is generating the logon request.
UAGroups 1,000 The number of UAGroup entries found in the file.
TIMEGroups 100 The number of TIMEGroup entries found in the file.
TIMEs 500 The number of TIME specifications in the file.
AUDITs 9 Up to 9 audit files may be defined for a single
XYGATEUA installation.
The limits can be displayed by running XYGATEUA with the STATS command.
