1.5 XUA and SYSGENS or COLDLOADS
Safeguard will automatically restart the Authorization SEEP if it was ENABLED when
Safeguard was shut down prior to the COLDLOAD.
If the XUA Authentication SEEP was not installed, or not ENABLED when Safeguard
was shutdown, then once Safeguard is started, run the following commands:
RUN $<vol>.<subvol>.XUA INSTALL
XUA_SAFECOM_INSTALL
XUA_SAFECOM_ENABLE
If your system managers prefer to disable or even uninstall the XUA SEEP before
coldloads, then the two commands above should be added to their system startup
scripts.
1.6 Uninstalling XTR and XUA Using the Auto Uninstall Script
The Auto Uninstall script is designed for an easy removal of the XUA and XTR server
programs, and files. It should only be run if the IWIZARD was run to install or upgrade
the XUA and/or XTR environments and you want to completely remove the XUA and
XTR environments.
1.6.1 Preparing for the Auto Uninstall Script
The Auto Uninstall script will attempt to uninstall all modules that are running on the
server as follows:
• Uninstall the XYGATEUA installed product software.
• Uninstall the XYGATETR installed product software.
• Stop the LISTNER process for the connection of GUI products to XYGATETR.
