12.5 Running the LDAP Install Macro
Now that you have designed your configuration, you can run the XUA_LDAP_INSTALL
macro to configure or update the LDAP interface. Refer to your specific values for the
corresponding item numbers in Table 4 before you begin.
All your responses to the Install macro will be recorded in the UACONF file described
in Appendix A: in the form of keywords using the values you enter at the prompts. If
you have to change these values, you can do so by modifying them in UACONF only
after the macro run is completed.
Note: The XUA_LDAP_INSTALL macro is intended only to be used to configure the
initial environment and not for on-going maintenance. All keywords in the
UACONF file can be edited directly.
The following is an example of a macro run. After each prompt, you will find an
explanation of what each entered value achieves, as well as the keyword that will
represent this value in the UACONF file. The dialog may differ from the below example
depending on what values already exist in the UACONF file.
Example: Sample Execution of the XUA_LDAP_INSTALL Macro
$SYSTEM.XYGATEUA> RUN XUA INSTALL
$SYSTEM.XYGATEUA> XUA_LDAP_INSTALL
