Installation
This section contains step-by-step procedures on how to install Opsol
ZLE Adapter for ATMs, POS.
Installation Requirements
This subsection contains the steps necessary before beginning the
Opsol ZLE Adapter for ATMs, POS installation procedure in the next
subsection.
• Install NonStop TS/MP on the HP NonStop system if it is not
already resident. Set the Pathway "MAXLINKMONS" parameters
to equal at least the number of CPU’s on the HP NonStop
system.
• Verify that the appropriate Safeguard access control lists (ACLs)
have been set up.
Installation Procedures
1. Install the Opsol ZLE Adapter for ATMs, POS software by reading
the files from the installation disk. The disk contains the
following files:
Filename Description
DIST Distributor server program object file.
ZLEADAP Opsol ZLE Adapter for ATMs, POS server
program object file.
PATHCONF Sample obey file to configure Pathway
SERVCONF Sample obey file to configure Pathway
server classes.
STRTPATH Sample obey file to start Pathway servers.
STOPPATH Sample obey file to stop Pathway servers.
2. FTP the following files in binary mode to an OSS location:
ZLEADAP
3. FTP the following files in ASCII mode to a Guardian location:
PATHCONF
SERVCONF
STRTPATH
