Installation Process Preparation
The Storage Provisioner installation process includes:
Fulfilling the pre-installation requirements.
Using the Command View HSG to allow local host setup
and to modify the host name field.
If your Storage Area Network (SAN) includes HP
StorageWorks HSG80 Array Controllers, then use the
Command View HSG to modify the local host setup,
host name fields, and password.
This enables Storage Provisioner to access the HSG80
controllers.
Installing Storage Provisioner software.
Adding permissions to the java.policy file on your local
computer to allow for backing up the database and
exporting provisioning data.
Launching Storage Provisioner.
