Using the default disk group (HSV-based storage systems)
A default disk group for HSV-based storage systems is created during
initialization of the storage system. To optimize Storage Provisioner with
HSV-based storage systems:
Leave the default disk group as the only disk group to allow for maximum
flexibility.
Double the default disk group disk failure protection level to allow for
maximum safety.
If your HSV-based storage systems are already set up and configured with
other disk groups, Storage Provisioner will use all of them. Additionally,
Storage Provisioner will add any ungrouped disks to disk groups as needed
when completing a provisioning request.
