8 OpenView Storage Provisioner Release Notes
StorageWorks Command View EVA.
This SP specifically supports the StorageWorks HSV controller and is
provided with the HSV software kit and the StorageWorks Virtual Controller
Software (HSV) V2.0 upgrade kit.
A separate installation provided with this SP addresses the Password Manager
code. The Password Manager part of the SP is required for customers using
Network View V2.0B.
■ Management Appliance Software Update V1.0C Service Pack 3.
This SP provides Spida Worm virus protection.
Only applications using structured query language (SQL) or Microsoft Data
Engine (MSDE) are affected. This SP sets the password for the “sa account”
in the MSDE/SQL database to address the vulnerability caused by the Spida
Worm virus. HP recommends installing SP3.
■ Management Appliance Software Update V1.0C Service Pack 4.
Command View HSG V1.0e support. (previously HSG Element Manager).
This SP supports the requirements of StorageWorks Array Controller
Software (ACS) V8.7 and implements many new graphical user interface
(GUI) changes.

distributed with the Management Appliance Update kit. If necessary, you can obtain
SP2 from an HP authorized service provider.
Storage Provisioner Issues
