6. Choose the location for the software and click Next.
7. Enter the user name and company for the installation and click Next.
8. Enter the port number for the CIM server connection and click Next.
9. Click Next to continue the installation.
During installation, an important message displays with the requirement to set management
group credentials.

IMPORTANT: After installation is complete, you must add credentials for management groups.
See “Setting management group credentials” (page 7) for instructions.
If you are using VMware integrations, you must also configure VMware integration credentials.
See “Configuring VMware snapshot options” (page 12) for instructions.
10. Click Next when you have finished reading the message.
11. Click Finish to complete the installation.
12. Click Documentation on the installer Home page to review or save the documentation for the
HP StoreVirtual Application Integration Solution Pack, and then close the installer.
NOTE: Uninstall the Application Aware Snapshot Manager using Start→Control Panel→Programs
and Features.
Upgrading the Application Aware Snapshot Manager
After upgrading the Application Aware Snapshot Manager (which also includes an upgrade for
the Authentication Console), management group credentials that were previously set are retained.
