Setting upgrade preferences
To set the upgrade preferences described in Table 2 (page 5), click Help→Preferences→Upgrades.

• Automatic—The system automatically downloads
upgrade files when they become available.
• On Request—(Default) When upgrades are available,
you must click Start Download from the Upgrades tab
to download upgrade files.
File Download
• Download all files—(Default) Includes in the download
all files availble for upgrading all storage systems.
• Download only files applicable to my systesm—Uses
information about the release version of the software
plus the model of storage systems to determine which
files to download. The downloaded files are only those
patches and upgrades necessary for the software and
hardware of the management group.
Bandwidth Speed
• Fast—Uses available bandwidth for file downloads.
• Normal—(Default) Reduces bandwidth used for file
downloads (downloads are about 20% slower).
Upgrade Selection Mode
• Advanced—Lets you select which upgrade or patch to
install.
• Normal—(Default) Installs all upgrades and patches
needed to upgrade to the latest version.
Use the default directory or click Browse to select a different
one. If you change the directory, the system copies all files
