The device is not recognized as a boot device.Not Recognized
The device cannot be used. (For example, the compact
flash card is the wrong size or type.)
Unsupported
NOTE: When the status of a boot device changes, an event is generated. See Alarms and events
overview” (page 86).
Replacing a dedicated boot device
If a boot hard drive fails, you will see an event that the boot device is faulty. Replace it with a new
drive. The boot device drives support hot swapping and do not require activation.
