1. Select a storage system in the navigation window.
2. Open the tree below the storage system and select Diagnostics.
3. Select the Log Files tab.
4. Select the log in the Remote logs list.
5. Click Log File Tasks and select Edit Remote Log Destination.
6. Change the log type or destination and click OK.
7. Ensure that the remote computer has the proper syslog configuration.
Deleting remote logs
1. Select a storage system in the navigation window.
2. Open the tree below the storage system and select Diagnostics.
3. Select the Log Files tab.
4. Click Log File Tasks and select Delete Remote Log Destination.
5. Click OK to confirm.
NOTE: After deleting a remote log file from the storage system, remove references to this log file
from the syslog configuration on the target computer.
Exporting the management group support bundle
If asked to do so by HP Support, export the management group support bundle. The support bundle
is saved as a .zip file.
1. Export the management group support bundle using one of the following methods:
Select a management group in the navigation window, right-click and select Export
Management Group Support Bundle.
From the CMC menu bar, select TasksManagement GroupExport Management Group
Support Bundle.
2. Select the location to save the file.
NOTE: You cannot change the name of the .zip file.
3. Click Save.
Exporting the storage system support bundle
If asked to do so by HP Support, export the storage system support bundle. The support bundle is
saved as a .zip file.
1. Access Export storage system Support Bundle using one of the following methods:
Right-click a storage system and select Export storage system Support Bundle.
From the CMC menu bar, select TasksSystemExport storage system Support Bundle.
From the Diagnostics category under a storage system, click Log File TasksExport storage
system Support Bundle.
2. Select the location to save the file.
NOTE: You cannot change the name of the .zip file.
