re-execute the operation. If the same
message is output, take appropriate
actions according to the value of errno
for the shmget system call (see Note).
Note: The table below shows the cause of the error and actions to be taken
for each errno.

collect maintenance information, and then
contact customer support.

deleted while
HiRDB was

Use the hcmdssrv /
stop command to
stop the Hitachi
Command Suite

Component service,
and then use the
hcmdssrv /start
command to restart
the Hitachi

Component service.

max, and then restart
the corresponding
server.
Linux:
Specify a larger value
in the kernel
parameter
kernel.shmmax, and
then restart the
corresponding server.

In the installation
drive, reserve a
space larger than
the shared memory.

- Reduce the number

segments in a single
machine
