When upgrading Business Continuity Manager from a version earlier than
7.4 to 7.4 or later
If you upgrade Business Continuity Manager to 7.4 or later, a CTG information CSV file is required
to execute the YKIMPORT or YKEXPORT command for Continuous Access Journal Z copy groups.
Before executing either command, assign and catalog the CSV file datasets, and then, for the
YKIMPORT command, specify the CSV file with the DD name INCTG, and, for the YKEXPORT
command, specify the CSV file with the DD name OUTCTG. If you execute either command without
specifying the CTG information CSV file, the command will fail with the YKJ150E message.
When upgrading Business Continuity Manager from a version earlier than
7.6.1 to 7.6.1 or later
If you upgrade Business Continuity Manager to 7.6.1 or later, the default value of the unit to
manage the differential data when defining copy groups for Continuous Access Synchronous Z
and Continuous Access Asynchronous for Mainframe will be changed from cylinder to track.
Specifically, the default value of DIF UNIT in the following panels will change from CYL to TRK:
• Copy Group Attributes For Container (Cnt Ac-S Z) panel
• Copy Group Attributes (Cnt Ac-S Z) panel
• Copy Group Attributes For Container (CCA) panel
• Copy Group Attributes (CCA) panel
