COPY PACE
• NORMAL: The speed of the copy operation
improves. However, update I/O load on
P-VOL is high, and this might affect the I/O
performance of the host.
• SLOW: Slows the speed of the copy
operation so that the effect of the copy
operation on the I/O performance of the
host is minimal.
Fence level

FENCE LVL
• DATA: Places P-VOL in fence status (updates
suppressed) when updates in P-VOL cannot
be copied to S-VOL due to a problem such
as a failure.
• STATUS: Places P-VOL in fence status
(updates suppressed) when updates in
P-VOL cannot be copied to S-VOL due to a
problem such as a failure. If the operation
from the primary site attains the suspend
status, updates to P-VOL are accepted.
• NEVER: P-VOL is never in fence status
(updates suppressed). When a copy pair
is suspended, updates to P-VOL are
accepted.
Freeze the storage system (place in SCP status)
when a failure suspension (SUSPER) occurs.

• Y: Places in SCP status.
• N: Does not place in SCP status.
If one of the following conditions is satisfied,
N/A is displayed:
• The consistency group ID is not registered
in the storage system.
• The Open/MF Consistency Preservation

FlashCopy was interrupted.
• N: Normal status
This item is displayed in the format
P-VOL-status-S-VOL-status.
In either of the following cases, N/A is
displayed:
• SIMPLEX is displayed for Status under both
Primary Volume and Secondary Volume.
• The information cannot be obtained.
