Procedure 1 To create an initial copy or copies
1. In the Storage Systems tree, click Replication > Remote Replication, and then select the Cnt
Ac-J Pairs tab.
2. From the Actions menu, click Remote Replication > Create Pairs.
3. In the Create Pairs window, for Copy Type, select Continuous Access Journal.
4. For Remote Storage System, select the secondary system’s Model/Serial Number and Path
Group ID.
• If the mirror contains an existing pair, the same Model/Serial Number as the existing
pair’s must be selected.
• If the secondary system is XP24000/XP20000 Disk Array, only 0 can be selected for
Path Group ID.
