Hitachi Global Link
Manager database file
contains an invalid
period character.
A period character has
been entered at the
beginning or end of
the installation folder
name specified in the
path.
Delete any period
characters from the
beginning or end of
the installation folder
name.
KAIF40090-E The IP address or host
name is invalid.
Possible causes are as
follows:
1. The format for the
IP address is not
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
2. xxx is not a value
in the range
0-255.
3. The host name
must be no more
than 128 bytes.
4. Characters other
than alphabetic
characters,
numeric
characters,
hyphen character,
and a period are
specified in the
host name.
5. A hyphen
character is
specified at the
beginning or end
of the host name.
6. "localhost" is
specified for the
host name.
Perform the following
action depending on
the cause:
1. Make the format
for the IP address
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
2. Make xxx a value
in the range
0-255.
3. Specify the host
name by using no
more than 128
bytes.
4. Specify the host
name by using
alphabetic
characters,
numeric
characters,
hyphen character,
and a period.
5. Delete any
hyphen characters
from the
beginning or end
of the host name.
6. "localhost" cannot
be specified for
the host name.
Specify another
character string.
KAIF40091-E An attempt to acquire
the IP address of the
server has failed.
An attempt to acquire
the IP address of the
Hitachi Global Link
Manager server has
failed.
Acquire the diagnostic
information of Hitachi
Global Link Manager
and Hitachi Command
Suite Common
Component, and then
contact the Support
Center.
KAIF40092-E An attempt to acquire
the registry necessary
for setup has failed.
An attempt to acquire
the registry
information of the
Hitachi Global Link
Manager server has
failed.
Acquire the diagnostic
information of Hitachi
Global Link Manager
and Hitachi Command
Suite Common
Component, and then
contact the Support
Center.
