The examples below show how to specify a host ID. If neither (a) nor (b)
is specified, 00 is assumed.
(a) Using the YKSETENV command
The following example sets the host ID to 0F:

The following example sets the host ID to 0F:

Note:
If you register or change a host ID while Business Continuity Manager is
running, CLI commands are executed using the previously set value. The
registered or changed host ID takes effect the next time the YKLOAD
command is executed (with a route list specified).

IEASYMxx parmlib member, 00 (default value) is displayed.
• If the host ID cannot be acquired, N/A is displayed.
• If the host ID is invalid because it is not a value from X'00' to X'1F', the
value is displayed on the panel, and FAULTY is displayed for 3 Host ID
Settings on the Installation Verification Summary panel.
The host ID that was defined dynamically by using the YKSETENV command.Dynamically defined Host ID
If the host ID cannot be acquired, N/A is displayed.
The host ID that was defined statically for the IEASYMxx parmlib member.Statically defined Host ID
If the host ID cannot be acquired, N/A is displayed.
Even if the host ID is invalid because it is not a value from X'00' to X'1F',
the value is displayed.
