When defining a copy group, specify the following DAD IDs for Primary
Device Address Domain in the Set Defaults panel:A Cnt Ac-J Z copy group is required between the primary
site and the remote site.
• For a Cnt Ac-S Z copy group definition between the primary site and
the local site: DAD ID of the primary site (set the primary site as the
P-VOL)
The following delta resync Cnt Ac-J Z copy group is
required between the local site and the remote site.
• For the S-VOL of the delta resync Cnt Ac-J Z pair,
specify the same journal group number as that of the
S-VOL of the Cnt Ac-J Z copy group, using a different
mirror ID.
• For a Cnt Ac-J Z copy group definition between the primary site and
the remote site: DAD ID of the primary site (set the primary site as the
P-VOL)
• For a Cnt Ac-J Z copy group definition for the delta resync function
between the local site and the remote site: DAD ID of the local site
(set the local site as the P-VOL)
If the Cnt Ac-S Z consistency preservation function is not used, the
consistency of a copy pair volume update sequence might not be
preserved in some cases (such as a line error).
Set this item before starting a copy operation.Prepare the following route lists by referring to
Table 61 (page 201):

This item is not necessary if you use Remote Web Console to set up
logical paths.
