• The Cnt Ac-S, Cnt Ac-J, and Cnt Ac-J delta resync pairs must be created before the remote FS
pairs.
• You can create a local FS pair before or after the delta resync pairs.
External Storage
You can create Cnt Ac-J pairs using External Storage-configured external volumes.

Virtual LUN
• Continuous Access Journal supports the Virtual LUN feature, which allows you to configure
custom-size LU that are smaller than standard-size LUs. When custom-size LUs are assigned
to a Continuous Access Journal pair, the S-VOL must have the same capacity as the P-VOL.
• To perform Virtual LUN operations on a pair’s P-VOL and S-VOL, the pair must be deleted
and the volumes’ status returned to unpaired.
Auto LUN
You can specify the Continuous Access Journal P-VOL or S-VOL as Auto LUN source volumes.
However, when Cnt Ac-J pair status is COPY or PAIR, do not perform the volume migration
operation; otherwise, the operation is stopped.
Cnt Ac-J pair volumes and journal volumes cannot be used as Auto LUN target volumes.
