5 Troubleshooting
This chapter provides troubleshooting information for RAID Manager.
Troubleshooting
If you have a problem installing or upgrading the RAID Manager software, make sure that all
system requirements and restrictions have been met.
If you need to call the HP Technical Support, please provide as much information about the problem
as possible, including:
• The circumstances surrounding the error or failure.
• The exact content of any error messages displayed on the host system(s).
• The Remote Web Console configuration information by using the Dump Tool (see the XP7
Remote Web Console User Guide for the storage system).
• The reference codes and severity levels of the remote service information messages (R-SIMs)
logged by Remote Web Console.
