Installing a Global Link Manager Cluster with other Hitachi
Command Suite Clusters Installed
This section describes how to perform a new installation of Global Link
Manager in an environment where other Hitachi Command Suite products are
running in a cluster configuration.
If you perform a reinstallation or version upgrade installation of Global Link
Manager in an environment where Global Link Manager is running in a cluster
configuration together with other Hitachi Command Suite products, see
Reinstallation or Version Upgrade Installation of Global Link Manager in a
Cluster Environment on page 4-11.
For details about the settings for a cluster environment for other Hitachi
Command Suite products, see the corresponding manual for those products.
Note: If you execute the hcmdsdbremake or hcmds64dbclustersetup
command in the following procedure, the default (22032) is set to the port
number that HiRDB uses. Therefore, if you are using a port number other
than the default to perform operations, you need to reset the port number
later. Write down the port number you are using so that you can set the port
number again.
