This section describes the definition procedure for using the Open/MF Consistency Preservation
Function. To use the Open/MF Consistency Preservation Function, you must assign the Open/MF
Consistency attribute to consistency groups.
Preparing at the Open System Side
Create a copy group with the consistency group ID specified for the open system side using RAID
Manager.
Definition Procedure for Business Continuity Manager
The procedure before you create a copy group definition file of Business Continuity Manager is
the same as the one for a 2DC configuration. For details, see “Definition procedure (2DC
configuration)” (page 149). The following procedure is required when you cerate a new copy group
or assign an attribute to an existing copy group.
When Defining a New Copy Group
To define a new copy group, specify the Open/MF Consistency attribute in the Copy Group
Attributes window.
