• You will assign a mirror ID to the pair. This identifies the pair within the journal. A mirror refers
to the pair within the journal.
• If the mirror ID you will assign to the new pair contains an existing pair or pairs, the new
pair’s volumes must belong to the same primary and secondary systems in the mirror.
Procedure 9 To create an initial copy or copies
1. In the Storage Systems tree, click Replication > Remote Replication, and then select the Cnt
Ac-J Z Pairs tab.
2. From the Actions menu, click Remote Replication > Create Pairs.
3. In the Create Pairs window, for Copy Type, select Continuous Access Journal Z.
