Figure 5 shows the performance results for the U320 SCSI ports when unidirectional disk
traffic is being run through the card.
The following highlights show the excellent performance achieved during U320 SCSI disk
traffic testing:

AB290A U320 SCSI Disk Throughput in rx4640
• Disk write traffic achieved an exceptional 231 MB/s of throughput on the rx4640 -- or
greater than 99% of base rate! Two ports achieved a very good 260 MB/s throughput
or 71% of base rate.
• Disk read traffic consistently achieved exceptional throughput on the rx4640 system.
One port achieved 257 MB/s for disk reads or greater than 95% of base rate , and 2
ports achieved 500 MB/s or 96% of base rate.
