AH303A PCIe SC44Ge SAS Host Bus Adapter for Integrity Servers Support Guide, September 2009

get_stat
When run without qualifiers, it shows statistics about the controller represented
by device_file. You can specify the following qualifiers:
phy Shows statistics for all PHYs or a specific PHY.
phy_in_port Shows statistics for a port that the specified PHY belongs
to or provides statistics for all ports.
target Shows statistics for a specific target or all targets.
replace_tgt Associates the lun_dsf specified by the old_dev qualifier with a new SAS
target, which is specified with the new_tgt_hwpath qualifier. You must
specify the following qualifiers:
old_dev
new_tgt_hwpath
The lun_dsf must be the legacy device file and the new_tgt_hwpath must
be the legacy hardware path.
Use this command to replace a bad drive. Do not use this command while
there are outstanding I/O requests to lun_dsf or to any LUNs under
new_tgt_hwpath. If you do not specify the -f option with this command,
sasmgr displays a warning message before continuing. Otherwise, it
suppresses the warning message and executes the command.
NOTE: You cannot specify a persistent device file or the new style hardware
path with the old_dev and new_tgt_hwpath qualifiers. To perform this
operation using persistent device files, use the io_redirect_dsf command.
For more information, see the io_redirect_dsf(1M) manpage.
reset
Resets the controller and performs a complete initialization. All outstanding
I/Os to the HBA are aborted. This is a destructive operation. If you do not
specify the -f option with this command, sasmgr displays a warning message
before continuing. Otherwise, it suppresses the warning message and runs
the command.
set_attr
Turns the locate LED for the specified LUN on or off. You must specify the
following qualifiers:
lun
locate_led

This section contains examples of sasmgr commands that are useful when troubleshooting
problems with the Host Bus Adapter.
Displaying General Statistics and Information
Use sasmgr get_info -D /dev/sasdX -q phy=all to display all PHY statistics of the
controller with the device file /dev/sasd1:
# sasmgr get_info -D /dev/sasd1 -q phy=all
