Some sx2000 Users Must Replace Their I/O Chassis
sx2000 users whose I/O chassis part number is A9386-2101B (stamped “A9836-0002C” on the front panel),
and who plan to use both InfiniBand ports of the AB345C Adapter, must replace their I/O chassis. Compatible
chassis are stamped “A9386-0002D”.
ServiceGuard
The following two patches must be installed in order to ensure proper operation of InfiniBand in
ServiceGuard systems:
PHSS_32741 allows SGCOM to support the configuration of IP over InfiniBand network interfaces.
PHSS_33039 prevents core dump when disk hardware path exceeds 30 characters.

Invalid Page Size Hint
Invalid page size arguments prevent the proper operation of the madvise(2) system call, because there is no
check in place to ensure the correctness of the page size hint. This issue was resolved by adding a check to
ensure the correctness of the page size hint argument, which is passed to the madvise(2) system call.
In order to avoid this problem, you must install the following patch:
PHKL_33563 prevents improper operation of madvise(2) system call.

Message Signal Interrupt (MSI & MSI-X)
In order to perform transaction based interrupts, the following patches need to be installed:
PHKL_32632 enables Message Signaled Interrupts
PHKL_32645 WSIO (IO) subsystem MSI/MSI-X/WC patch
PHKL_32646 wsio.h header file patch

Use Consistent OS and Software Versions in the Fabric
HP requires all systems in the fabric to use both the same HP-UX OS software version, and the same HP-UX
Fabric Clustering System for InfiniBand software version, such as version B.11.23.05.
HP requires all systems in the fabric to use the same bundle, IB4X-01.
HP requires all switches in the fabric to use the same firmware image version such as:
HP-374305-001-Release-2.2.0hp-build018.img
