CAUTION: All customer supplied water fittings must be composed of carbon steel, stainless
steel, or copper. Do not use cast iron, aluminum, or PVC fittings.
CAUTION: During operation, avoid leaving the HP POD doors open, to maintain accurate
environmental conditions inside the HP POD.
Spare replacement tips
The following tips might ease the removal and replacement of spare parts:
Take note of the orientation and location of the parts as you remove them. It will help you properly
replace the spare parts.
Retain all of the screws you remove, separated by screw type, because you will need the screws to
replace the spare part.
Busway drop box
There are either 11 or 22 busway drop boxes installed in the HP POD. The dropboxes are staggered on
the electrical busways; one connected to the A-side busway and the next connected to the B-side busway.
You will need a wrench for installation.
Removing the busway drop box
1. Turn off the power for the drop box (1) by opening both breakers on the busway drop box.
2. Disconnect the PDUs that are connected to the busway drop box (2).
3. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the bolt securing the busway drop box to the retaining
hardware bracket (1).
4. Slide the hardware bracket to the right along the busway, to completely disconnect it from the
busway drop box (2).
