CONFIGURING EXECUTIVEASSISTANT
FEATURES
Hot Desking
What is Hot Desking?
A user can log in to his / her extension from other phones using ExecutiveAssistant. Once
logged in, the user can make and receive calls or access Voicemail.
Enabling Hot Desking
1. Create an ExecutiveAssistant Hot Desking hunt group in NBX system. For
detailed steps refer to the section Post Media Driver Install Configuration
2. Add the NBX system users as ExecutiveAssistant users and add the
ExecutiveAssistant HotDesking Hunt group number to ExecutiveAssistant. Refer
to the section Adding Telephone Extension Users
3. From the ExecutiveAssistant main window, click on Settings > System
Configuration > Phone Line Configuration
4. Enter the Hot Desking Hunt Group value into the Hot Desking field
5. Make sure all incoming or extension-to-extension calls for the user route through
ExecutiveAssistant
6. Create a Hot Desking speed dial on the telephones that map to the hunt group
created in Step 2.
7. Click OK Button
Find Me Follow Me
Enabling Find Me Follow Me
1. Add the NBX system users as ExecutiveAssistant users as described in the section
Adding Telephone Extension Users
2. From the ExecutiveAssistant main window, click on Find Me/Follow Me. The
ExecutiveAssistant – Away dialog window below will appear.
3. Click the Away Settings Button
