the following changes should be made to the table under “auto channel
select” on page 1-5:
in the column labeled “2.4 ghz (802.11b)”:
the heading should read “2.4 GHz (802.11b)”
the value for Frequency Channel 7 should be 2.442 GHz
the value for Frequency Channel 14 should be 2484 MHz (Japan only)
in the column labeled “5 ghz (802.11a)”:
the heading should read “5 GHz (802.11a)”
The following FCC caution should be added:
Caution: Exposure to Radio Frequency Radiation.
To comply with the FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the following
antenna installation and device operating configurations must be satisfied:
a. For configurations using the integral antenna, the separation distance
between the antenna(s) and any person’s body (including hands, wrists,
feet, and ankles) must be at least 2.5 cm (1 inch).
b. For configurations using an approved external antenna, the separation
distance between the antenna and any person’s body (including hands,
wrists, feet, and ankles) must be at least 20 cm (8 inches).
The transmitter shall not be collocated with other transmitters or
antennas.
chapter 8 - specifications – make the following changes:
the 802.11a antenna adapter information does not apply to the HP
ProCurve Wireless Access Point 520wl.
the “electrical specifications” listed on page 8-1 are not correct for the
power supply provided with the 520wl. The correct values are:
Input voltage = 100-240 VAC
Input current = 0.7 A (0,7 A)
Input frequency = 47-63 Hz
Input volt-amps = 50 VA
Output voltage = +5 VDC
Output current = 4 Amps
