For the HP ProCurve Range Extender Antenna 100wl
The following changes apply to the printed documentation included with the antenna:
The HP ProCurve Range Extender Antenna 100wl is designed for use
only with the HP ProCurve 150wl cards, which are supported only in the
HP ProCurve Wireless Access Point 520wl.
All references to the WL110, or product names that include WL110, apply to
the HP ProCurve 802.11b AP Card 150wl products.
Note that the 150wl cards are not supported in client devices, only in the
HP ProCurve Wireless Access Point 520wl.
All references to the WL510 or WL520, or product names that include WL510
or WL520, apply to the HP ProCurve Wireless Access Point 520wl.
Add the following installation precautions to the information:
Installation Precautions:
Carefully follow the installation directions included with the Range
Extender Antenna.
The Range Extender Antenna is intended for indoor installations only.
Refer to the document entitled Information to the User, which is
provided with the 150wl card, for regulatory restrictions and approvals
for your location.
The following FCC caution should be added:
Caution: Exposure to Radio Frequency Radiation.
To comply with the FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the following
antenna installation and device operating configurations must be satisfied:
For configurations using an approved external antenna, the separation
distance between the antenna and any person’s body (including hands, wrists,
feet, and ankles) must be at least 20 cm (8 inches).
The transmitter shall not be collocated with other transmitters or
antennas.
