You can configure Intelligent Resilient Framework (IRF) features on two S7500E series switches and
connect them together to form a distributed IRF virtual device.
Upgrading a Standalone Switch
Upgrade prerequisites
# Telnet to the switch or log in through the console port.
# Display device information.

The output shows that the switch has two main boards, an active main board in slot 0 and a standby
main board in slot 1. You must upgrade software for the two main boards.
NOTE:
If only one maid board is equipped, you only need to upgrade the active main board.

Check that the free storage space is sufficient for the .app file. You can delete undesired files with the
delete command to free storage space.

On the active main board
