11. Limitation 11
【QOS】The GV48DB board, GP48DB board, XP4B board and XP4CA board do not
support the WRR mode, so do not enable the WRR mode on these boards. Instead,
the SP (Strict-Priority) mode should be used.
12. Limitation 12
【QOS】Do not enable the flow control function on either the GV48DB or GP48DB
board, because none of them support the flow control function.
13. Limitation 13
【QOS】After the priority has been set on the port, upon queue traffic shaping,
packet loss may occur during line-speed packet forwarding.
14. Limitation 14
【IP protection】If active/standby MPU switchover occurs, do not immediately (at
least within 5 minutes) disable the IP protection function on an IP-protection-enabled
VLAN interface. Otherwise, Layer 3 forwarding may not function normally.
15. Limitation 15
【MSTP】Do not turn up/down the core link in the case that there are a large number
of instances in the MSTP networking. Otherwise, concurrent switchover may cause
traffic down for a long period.
16. Limitation 16
【MPLS】Do not configure provider router between PE and ASBR PE in VPLS trans-
domain multi-hop network employment. Otherwise, L2VPN forwarding service may
not function.
17. Limitation 17
【MPLS】Upon trans-domain single-hop networking, the S9500 system supports as
many as 12K of private network labels. If the device learns more private network
labels, the MPLS label resources will be used up and VPN service forwarding will fail.
18. Limitation 18
【MPLS】The MPLS packet cannot be matched by the source MAC. For example,
define rule 0 permit mpls ingress H-H-H 0000-0000-0000 egress any, and then
configure the redirection rule on the public network port. In this case, the redirection
rule does not work.
